Prayer at the Pyramids

It has been almost one year since I posted on the blog. I pray 2015 has been a fruitful year for you!

At the beginning of the year, I felt called to go within. My Soul let me know I needed to take a break. For the first couple years of the Living in the Light blog, I wrote nearly every week and posted on social media multiple times a day. After such a long time of doing this, I began to feel bad if I took a break from writing/posting. That’s when I knew something was off.

So, I allowed myself a break. And I’m so glad I did. I am more centered and more clear on the path forward than I have been in quite some time. Such a powerful lesson in patience, releasing attachment to outcomes, and listening to the Still Small Voice.

This year has been one of deep reflection, ascension, and integration. I was blessed with the opportunity to participate in a spiritual pilgrimage to Israel, Palestine, France, and Egypt that was truly powerful (to say the least). More to come on that experience. In short, I did not come back the same woman. I also had the opportunity to spend some time in Spain and Morocco with my husband for our 10-year anniversary. The combination of my passion for cultural exploration coupled with retreat and relaxation was soothing to my Soul. I realized that this is what I want to do – I want to share experiences like this with others.

As much as I can write about moving “From Stress to Peace,” there is nothing like experiencing that shift for yourself real-time. So, there will be many more retreats coming – starting with one from May 25 – 30, 2016 at a beautiful retreat center in Tola, Nicaragua! In addition to enjoying some relaxation, we will be doing some cultural exploration and supporting a local school. It will be a beautiful experience! Early bird registration for the retreat ends on Friday, December 18th. There are only 5 spaces left, so be sure to secure yours as soon as possible if it speaks to you! (Click the image below for details)

I look forward to being in touch a little more frequently in 2016 via the blog. There are many insights that came through in the still moments that I would love to share. I am also working on my second book, “Soul Drops: Daily Refreshment from the Wellspring Within.” More to come as the writing process continues. In the interim, you can always find me on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with me real-time (I’m on Instagram more frequently).

If I don’t speak with you before the close of the year, have a beautiful holiday season! May 2015 close out on a peaceful note, and 2016 bring more joy than you can imagine! Much Love!

Keep shining!

Peace & Infinite Blessings,

About the Author:

I used to live life shackled by fear, doubt, and worry. I put on a happy face while navigating my day-to-day duties, but I was emotionally drained, stressed, and unhappy. When I hit rock bottom, and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, I was determined to live life differently. I knew there had to be another way. Out of that determination, and guidance from Spirit, the "Living in the Light" blog was born. It documents my spiritual journey out of the darkness and into the Light. After nine months of publicly sharing my journey, and consciously releasing my attachment to the ego, I experienced a powerful spiritual awakening. I went from living in fear, doubt, worry, and stress to complete inner peace. My greatest passion has become assisting others on their own journey to inner peace. My spiritual memoir, From Stress to Peace: An Intimate Journal on the Journey from Living in Darkness to Living in the Light, is available now on Amazon and Click the tabs at the top of the page to learn more about the From Stress to Peace 21-Day Challenge, Living in the Light Retreats, 1:1 sessions, and the Living in the Light Community - all of which are designed to support your journey to inner peace. I appreciate you taking the time to visit the blog and look forward to supporting you in any way I can!
