Dreams are our Guideposts
My husband just got back from a week-long trip to Sweden for work and he brought me back the most thoughtful gift (pictured above) – perfect for where I am on my spiritual journey. The ring says “dreams are our guideposts” and the small roll of paper is to write your dream, the container is to seal it, and the clip to carry it with you everywhere you go. I love this!! I created a “vision board” while on my personal retreat back in January, but it was all over the place…I wanted a little bit of everything at the time :-). Since then, I have dedicated time daily for meditation, prayer, reading and journaling. Through this, the vision has become more clear to me and I don’t want all of the same things I wanted just 6 months ago. Instead of always talking to God, I’ve been doing more listening and I’m grateful for the gifts of His guidance through the Spirit.

This came on the same day that I had a good chat with a dear friend about my dreams for this next chapter of my life. After our talk I was excited again about what I see over the horizon, but I wanted to be sure this was really what God has for me and not just what I want. I re-read my lesson for the day in A Course in Miracles which asks you to spend some time asking God to reveal His plan by asking the following: “Where would You have me go? What would You have me do? What would You have me say, and to whom?”. With these questions in mind, I spent some time “visioning” (using the technique from Rev. Michael’s “Life Visioning” book) and meditating on “what I must become in order to manifest His vision for my life” (as Rev. Michael says). Needles to say, this gift could not have come at a more perfect time because I’m now ready to write it down and begin “becoming” what I need to become in order to manifest this vision.
What is God calling you to do? Have you written it down and held it close?

Have a great weekend everyone! Keep shining!
