Coming Clean

Arms Outstretched - Mt. Shasta - 12.21.17

Yesterday, I returned home from a 4-day/3-night personal retreat in Mount Shasta, California. It was majestic, healing, and empowering. I am so grateful for the time away from the day-to-day responsibilities so I could reflect on where I am, visualize where I’d like to be, and seek Guidance for the ways in which I can close the gap.

My primary intention was to align fully with my Higher Self so I can radiate more Divine Love through me in all that I do to serve, at home and in the world.

I received more that I imagined along the journey, and look forward to sharing more details about that here over the holiday break, and beyond. First, I have to come clean.

Those who followed this blog regularly from 2012-2015 may have noticed that I took a long break from posting here. I haven’t been fully authentic about the reasons for that.

While, yes, my family relocating from DC to Michigan did require a lot of energy and attention (packing, finding temporary living, researching schools, finding camps, purchasing a home, moving again, changing schools…the list goes on), that wasn’t the root cause of my hiatus.

The root cause of me stepping away from sharing my journey openly was fear.

Breathe

So, before I go into more detail about the mystical encounters and messages that came through while in Mount Shasta, I have to come clean about the crippling fears that I’ve struggled with over the last two years as I began to experience things that could be rejected by those who may not be open-minded.

My old desires to be accepted came back with a vengeance, and I retreated. This stops now. I will no longer allow myself to be concerned with what others think about what I have been given to do or share.

I am not here to be normal or to “fit in” to a worldly mold that was never designed for us to awaken our Divine potential.

Below is an audio I recorded on December 20, 2017. I had no idea what I was going to share before I was guided to hit record, but what came up was the full explanation on why I shut down, and what is to come. I encourage you to listen if anything I’ve shared (here or on social media) has ever resonated with you. Take a deep breath, and listen with an open heart.

I look forward to sharing more about the journey and, more importantly, about the emerging ways in which I can support you and yours on the journey to activating your Soul’s potential so you can do what you came to do here on Earth. Much Love to you and yours this holiday season!

Reflections: Take some time to reflect on the areas in which you’ve been holding back in your own life. In what ways have you allowed fear to stop you from taking bold steps toward the vision that has been given to you? What actions would you like to take toward your vision in 2018? After reflecting on these, pause, take a deep breath (or two, or three), and ask for Guidance on what you need to release in order to manifest this vision. Write down what comes to you.

Keep shining!

Peace & Infinite Blessings,

~Kandace

About the Author:

I used to live life shackled by fear, doubt, and worry. I put on a happy face while navigating my day-to-day duties, but I was emotionally drained, stressed, and unhappy. When I hit rock bottom, and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, I was determined to live life differently. I knew there had to be another way. Out of that determination, and guidance from Spirit, the "Living in the Light" blog was born. It documents my spiritual journey out of the darkness and into the Light. After nine months of publicly sharing my journey, and consciously releasing my attachment to the ego, I experienced a powerful spiritual awakening. I went from living in fear, doubt, worry, and stress to complete inner peace. My greatest passion has become assisting others on their own journey to inner peace. My spiritual memoir, From Stress to Peace: An Intimate Journal on the Journey from Living in Darkness to Living in the Light, is available now on Amazon and BN.com. Click the tabs at the top of the page to learn more about the From Stress to Peace 21-Day Challenge, Living in the Light Retreats, 1:1 sessions, and the Living in the Light Community - all of which are designed to support your journey to inner peace. I appreciate you taking the time to visit the blog and look forward to supporting you in any way I can!
